REGISTRATION INCLUDES ALL FESTIVITIES, ACTIVITIES, MEALS, AND FULL ACCESS TO THE RETREAT CENTER — the base ticket price includes camping or car camping. Cabins - private or shared, are available for an additional fee.

REGISTRATION FEES | We're offering sliding scale tiered ticketing that reflects the true cost of the gathering while working to meet people where they're at financially. From renting the retreat center, to food, insurance, supplies, trash removal, and website, these are just a few of the many places that the money goes to. We ask that you tune into your heart and pay what you truly can on this scale. If you have extra financial resources and are able to contribute to our scholarship fund, it will help others with less.

CABINS | We have multiple cabin options available for an additional fee. Please select your preference on the registration form and an organizer will reach out to confirm. If you have an accessibility need that requires a cabin and are financially limited, reach out to us.

This is where the volunteer magic happens. Gatherings are truly only made possible by the many hands and hearts that go into creating them. Help us co-create the magic, yeah? Everyone is asked to do a little something throughout the weekend -- we will have a sign-up sheet for folks to jump in and support!

MEALS

We’ll be gathering twice daily to eat — one delicious brunch and one nourishing dinner. For those early risers, we’ll put out a simple early breakfast [toast, jam + fruit]. We’ll have some very light afternoon snacks too. Annnd, you are welcomed and encouraged to bring your favorite snack to donate to the community snack table.

WHAT TO BRING

A full list will go out in the welcome email but a couple things here to get you excited!

Something for the Goddess Altar//Altar of Feminine Balance [our community altar] -- this can be an offering to stay or something you place for our time together
If you’re so inclined, a stage offering for our Drag/Performance/Know Talent Show
Toys [to share] for the kink altar at the play party
Camping gear [if camping]
All the warm + cozy bedding you need [for folks in cabins or camping]
Layers -- the daytime is lovely in October, the nights tend to cool down to pants, hats, and warm wraps. We’ll have nightly fires + a hot tub.
Comfortable shoes + sandals
A journal, your magical objects, and anything that soothes your unique soul.
Drums! and other instruments
Especially if you are in a shared cabin, but just in general, try to keep it low scent.
A towel or two [showers + hot tub]

MAKERS MARKET

Do you have things and stuff and makes that you craft? We’d love to see it. We’ll be setting up a little saloon for you to sell your wares.

ARRIVAL + DEPARTURE FLOW

For the collective container, we ask that you be here for the whole gathering. Plan to arrive on the land by 5 pm on Friday to register and settle in. Our opening dinner circle and introductions will be at 6 pm. We will be departing the land around 5 pm on Monday.

ACCESSIBILITY

The land includes hills and uneven terrain, which may be tricky for some to navigate. While the facilities at Groundswell meet basic accessibility requirements if you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out to see how we might best support you. Specific accommodations might include requests for a cabin space closer to the amenities, reserved space for car camping, or other support as needed within what the facilities can achieve.

COVID + COMMUNITY HEALTH

COVID requires us to adapt how we gather on an ongoing basis. It continues to impact a lot of people and can especially harm those in our community who are immunocompromised. We will require testing and ask you to be mindful of your activities and interactions the week leading up to the gathering.

CARPOOL

A ride share board will be available to coordinate rides with other gathering participants.

THINGS WE NEED

We are in need of a few things to truly set the space. Please reach out if you can help us source large carpets, a couple mattresses/thick memory foam mats, and drums!

This is a queer, trans, bipoc, body and sex positive space. Consent is not only sexy, but essential.

Jes / Versace (@wildly_rooted) is a genderqueer goddess who leans towards faggotry. A curator and holder of spaces, kitchen witch, and magic maker -- devoted to creating spaces where queerness and connection thrive. As a former steward of the Groundswell project, Jes initiated this gathering in 2019 to bring a new kind of energy to the land—one that really creates space for folx of these identities to come to the front and take up space, celebrates the richness of gender expression, and provides a unique container for healing, revelry, and deeper community bonds. Whether through food, ceremony, or collaborative creation, she is guided by a deep drive to live boldly and authentically, providing nourishment and nurturing people along the way. Big Libra energy. sky nebula

Sky Nebula (IG@sky_nebula333) is a faerie faggot, feral witch goddex who invokes reverence wherever they go. Whether creating sacred space, swinging a flogger, or serving tea, Sky holds space with presence. They value ceremony and intention — weaving both into their birth and death doula work, song sharing around fires, and channeling it through their craft as a community hair creatrix.

This double Libra, two spirit being thrives on heart centered connection and is looking forward to making new connections, and strengthening old ones while forging the path forward for femmes to rise.
